The Fayda (National ID) mini-app, which is currently available on Ethio-Telecom’s Telebirr app for download on both iOS and Android devices, is designed to provide a simple and convenient way for individuals to verify the authenticity of their digital ID. Any registered users with Fayda ID can get their ID information including with the virtual ID card right from the app. It includes a digitally signed QR code linked to the individual's digital ID which is used for offline authentication.
